It is a summary of our Commemoration of start of the War in Afghanistan 19 years ago. We as an organization paid tribute to the men and women who have fought that longest war in U.S. history. We also honored a great American prophet who has gone unheeded.
The event was held at the grave-site of Marine Corp Major General Smedley Butler. General Butler twice was recognized by Congress by receiving the Medal of Honor. He was in many ways the ultimate warrior. And yet, he warned America -- three-decades before President Eisenhower echoed him – of the dangers and threat to liberty from the military-industrial complex. His pamphlet, War is a Racket, could have been written today. It frankly is a harsh indictment of what has been done to America and its youth.
In the strongest words possible, I urge you to reject the siren-sounds of those who would keep America in a state of endless war. Please ignore the demands of those, such as Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming, to continue a policy of unconstitutional and never-ending warfare. Refuse to continue the insanity of making America “policeman to the world.”
Thank you for your consideration. And please support all efforts to Bring Our Troops Home and end the insanity of globalist intervention.
At this time of national emergency, state National Guard troops should be here at home, not half way around the world fighting other people's civil wars. Sign our petition below urging President Trump to order the immediate return of all National Guard troops to the U.S. to help protect our own communities and assist healthcare workers in responding to the coronavirus pandemic. Put America first!
